Lobby

Even amid the ubiquitous luxury of Dubai, the new Taj Dubai offers something special upon its opening. Blending touches of traditional Indian artistry with modern elegance, this new hotel – Taj’s second in the metropolis –makes a statement with mirrored columns in the lobby, reflecting a lighter-than-air chandelier designed to evoke birds in flight, and extraordinary suites revelling in views of the nearby Burj Khalifa and its dazzling fountain displays.

Of the 296 rooms, the crowning glory is the Presidential Suite, a sumptuous penthouse across the entire top floor, bathed in hues of peacock blue accented with antique gold. The apartment also features a fitness suite, a separate yoga and beauty room (complete with massage tables), a reception salon with a baby grand piano and an immersive media room. Guests in Club rooms or any of the suites will also have access to Taj’s Butler Service. Four restaurants and bars offer an eclectic range of dining experiences; Tesoro, housed in a glass-and-metal conservatory, offers Peruvian fare for lunch and dinner. Guests will also have an inhouse fitness centre and the Jiva Spa at their disposal, as well as opulent venues for meetings and events.
