On 17 July, 2015, Hilton Worldwide opened the Reichshof Hamburg hotel, part of the Curio Collection portfolio in Germany. The Hamburg hotel, operated by Event Hotelgruppe, is the brand’s first hotel in Europe.

“The uniqueness and special character of Reichshof Hamburg is a great example of what we seek when hand-picking respected and distinguished hotels for our Curio collection,” said Dianna Vaughan, global head, Curio – A Collection by Hilton.

“Europe has a wealth of exceptional upscale and luxury independent hotels, appealing to guests seeking more unique travel experiences,” said Simon Vincent, president EMEA, Hilton Worldwide. “The Reichshof Hamburg, Hilton Worldwide’s newest Curio collection hotel, offers guests the best of both worlds – a hotel that encapsulates the true essence of Hamburg with the advantages of being affiliated with Hilton Worldwide.”

Located opposite the Hamburg Central Railway Station, Reichshof features 278 renovated guest rooms, as well as junior and one bedroom suites and a 250 metre recreation and fitness facility. Local gastronomist Frank Bertram joins the Reichshof as chef de cuisine, moving his restaurant slowman to the hotel.

The Reichshof Hamburg participates in Hilton HHonors, the guest-loyalty program for Hilton Worldwide’s twelve hotel brands.
