The annual
Cannes Yachting Festival began on 8 September 2015, and this year a new area specifically dedicated to luxury industry stakeholders will lend an even greater glamour to the event.
La Terrasse, situated on the roof of the Palais des Festivals near the VIP Club and panoramic restaurant, overlooks the old port and its 500 yachts on one side, and the Cannes bay and Croisette on the other.
This new space is exclusively for luxury industry stakeholders: ocean yachts, the auto-mobile industry, watches, jewellery, private aviation, prestigious property, gastronomy, tableware, couture houses, leather and saddles, decoration, high-tech products, upmarket services and more.
Also new to the event is Concours d’Élégance, a parade exclusively consisting of motor and day boats under 12 meters:
“The contest combines the presentation of an elegant crew of 4 persons maximum, including a woman, and of a boat whose lines are elegant.”
The parade will take place in the middle of the Vieux Port de Cannes, Thursday 10 September from 5 to 6:30pm.
