Luxury resort hotelier Frank Grassmann has been appointed general manager of THE NAI HARN in Phuket, formerly Royal Phuket Yacht Club, which plans to reopen 16 January 2016 after an extensive, 18-month top-to-bottom makeover including 130 guestrooms and suites overlooking Nai Harn Beach. “It’s an honour to have been tasked with bringing this iconic resort at perhaps Phuket’s most prestigious location back to life,” Mr Grassmann said. “The revamped resort will embrace Southern Thai art and culture, integrating it into the guest experience both inside and outside of the resort.” Mr Grassmann brings with him his extensive experience in senior roles at luxury and flagship hotels and resorts all over the world, including Dusit Thani Bangkok and The Savoy. THE NAI HARN will be offering an opening rate starting at THB8000 net per night until 31 October 2016.
