From January 2016, travellers staying at andBeyond Chobe Under Canvas in Botswana will be offered a complimentary photographic safari on the Chobe River under the supervision of an expert wildlife photographer. Positioned at secluded sites in the game-rich Chobe National Park, the &Beyond Chobe Under Canvas camps consist of mobile safari tents with ensuite bathrooms. Designed to appeal to both lovers of wildlife and photography enthusiasts, the half-day photographic safari caters for all levels of experience, from the amateur to the professional alike. Guests set out on the Chobe River in a custom-built boat, accompanied by a professional photographer who guarantees each participant a level of personal attention, as well as expert tips and recommendations on how to improve their wildlife photography. Each seat on the boat is fitted with a top-of-the-range camera that is fixed to a fully customisable mount. Travellers who feel more comfortable using their own cameras are able to quickly and easily attach them to the mounts. Guests receive instant feedback and guidance from the professional photographer. At the end of the trip, each guest’s photographs are downloaded to disc and handed over as a souvenir of their safari in Botswana. This photographic adventure will be offered free of charge to guests staying at andBeyond Chobe Under Canvas as part of their Botswana safari tour.
