United Airlines is re-introducing the option of pre-boarding for families with young children. From 15 February 2016, families with children aged two and under can board their seats early before the rush of general boarding.
“It takes a little bit of the stress out of the travel situation. Some things are just the right thing to do,” says Sandra Pineau-Boddison, United’s Senior Vice President of Customers.
As boarding policies vary throughout the United States, American Airlines are trying to reward loyal members with seamless and punctual boarding processes. Currently, American Airlines allows families with young children to board first on request only, with Hawaiian and Alaska Airlines also offering priority boarding options to families.
