A group of lucky travel agents were recently treated to an all-inclusive river cruise in Europe courtesy of APT, experiencing for themselves why the luxury travel operator is Australia’s leading river cruise line. The seven-day cruise between Budapest and Nuremberg featured two of APT’s exclusive Royal Invitations. At Vienna’s City Palace the agents enjoyed their first Royal Invitation – a private recital which included a cocktail reception and an evening of culture and captivating entertainment featuring a performance by members of the Mozart Boy’s Choir. In Linz the group experienced their second Royal Invitation, boarding the Majestic Imperator. Taking in the breathtaking scenery of Austria’s famous Salzkammergut region, the group of travel agents enjoyed morning tea aboard the train before disembarking in Salzburg for a tour, which touched on some of the sights from the classic ‘Sound of Music’ and the chance to explore Mirabell Gardens. They then reboarded, enjoying drinks, canapés and music en route to Passau, where they rejoined their river cruise. The agents also sampled APT’s all inclusive lifestyle on board their luxury river cruise ship; dining at the Chef’s Table Restaurant, enjoying complimentary beverages and relaxing in their Twin Balcony suites, all of which featured butler services and complimentary Wi-Fi. APT is offering a special Business Class flight deal for bookings on its 2016 Magnificent Europe itineraries. For example the 4 November 2016 15-day Magnificent Europe river cruise from Budapest to Amsterdam is available from $7,795 per person, twin share with the option of flying Business Class for just $1,995 per person. This offer is valid until 15 May 2016 and is subject to terms and conditions.
