Frank Marrenbach, CEO Oetker Collection, has announced the recent nomination of Celso David do Valle in the position of Managing Director of Palácio Tangará, São Paulo, due to open second quarter 2017. Aged 58, Celso is a well-known personality in the hotel world of South America. Graduated from Cornell/CEATEL in Hotel Management, he has 30 years of experience as general manager with various companies, including resorts, business hotels and school hotel. His latest position was General Director at Belmond Hotel das Cataratas. Reporting to Frank Marrenbach, CEO Oetker Collection, Celso will be in charge of the opening of Palácio Tangará the latest masterpiece of the Oetker Collection. Located in Burle Marx Park, a tropical forest, this property will be unique, an ‘urban oasis’, in the middle of the financial capital of South America. Frank Marrenbach declares: “I am very pleased to have Celso David do Valle join the Collection. His expertise of Brazil luxury hotels and his leadership will be a big asset for the future success of Palácio Tangará, the first hotel Oetker Collection will manage in this part of the world.”
