Award-winning Australian-owned travel operator APT is hosting Symphony in the Kimberley – an exclusive live performance by a quintet from the Sydney Symphony Orchestra (SSO) beneath the sandstone domes of the Bungle Bungle’s Cathedral Gorge this September. As a proud sponsor of the SSO’s Master Series, APT has invited a musical ensemble to perform exclusively for guests travelling on its tours. Performing at the private event are Janet Webb, Principal Flute; Diana Doherty, Principal Oboe; Francesco Celata, Acting Principal Clarinet; Matthew Wilkie, Principal Bassoon; and Ben Jacks, Principal Horn. A natural amphitheatre within the remote World Heritage-listed Purnululu National Park, Cathedral Gorge offers the perfect stage for APT’s Symphony in the Kimberley, both acoustically and visually.
