On Monday 22 August, LATTE attended Brand USA‘s viewing of ‘America Wild National Parks Adventure’ at the IMAX Sydney in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the National Parks Service. Before the film, the team sipped on Sierra Nevada American Pale Ale, ate a variety of canapés including coconut shrimp, wagyu beef, pork belly and duck pancakes before posing in front of a green screen to be photoshopped into the ‘American Wild’. Afterwards, the team entered the cinema via the candy bar to pick up the complimentary choc top and popcorn. Speeches were given by Jo Palmer, Australian Managing Director, John Berry, United States Ambassador to Australia, and Christopher Thompson, President and CEO of Brand USA, before the film. The film ‘America Wild’, narrated by Robert Redford, followed mountaineer Conrad Anker, Max Lowe and Rachel Pohl’s explorations through America’s stunning national parks. With 3D cinematography guests were immersed in Yellowstone National Parks’ spraying geysers and Yosemite’s waterfalls, climbed ice curtains at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, and were inspired by many more adventures and scenery. The evening concluded with cheese platters and a pyramid of indulgent desserts. Guests went home with the beautiful National Parks Adventure book, Brand USA head torch and film poster.
