Hotel de Rome celebrates its 10th birthday

Hotel de Rome, a Rocco Forte Hotel, is celebrating its 10th birthday this month with an exclusive 48-hour golden experience. It was exactly ten years ago, Hotelier Sir Rocco Forte opened the five-star superior hotel located on historic Bebelplatz.

Hotel de Rome has had the honour of hosting 495,366 guests in the ten years since it opened. This means approximately 1,223,100 pillows plumped by the housekeeper and her staff. In the hotel kitchen, 39,010 grams of truffles have been shaved, while the hotel’s own patisserie has transformed over 4380 kilograms of the finest chocolate into elegant creations. 8590 champagne corks have been popped throughout the entirety of the hotel’s history. To achieve this, 180 employees from 17 nations work both front of house and behind the scenes to ensure the perfect and extremely personal Rocco Forte service.
