back   Sala Rattanakosin Bangkok has claimed the title of ‘most loved rooftop bar’ in the inaugural Time Out Bangkok Awards. Bangkokians are invited to show their love for the restaurants, bars, cafés, shops and cultural attractions in the city — the barista making amazing latte art, the bartender whipping up mind-blowing cocktails, the gallery raising awareness on social topics — nominated by Time Out Bangkok editors based on global Time Out review guidelines. Despite a gamut of sky-high venues in the city, Bangkokians were most delighted by the tantalising views of the Chao Phraya River, Grand Palace and Wat Pho offered by the rooftop bar at Sala Rattanakosin. This chic open-air rooftop bar and terrace with views of the Chao Phraya River, Temple of Dawn (Wat arun) and other historical sites. The executive chef, “eclectic Englishman”, Tony Wrigley, ensures fresh and local flavours are in every bite. Beer, cocktails, wines and light snacks 5pm until midnight daily. hero21-300x300
