Five of the top French ski resorts headlined Atout France‘s Après-Ski Dinner Event on Monday 22 May, coming together to share the spirit of the Alps. Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, Megève, Val d’Isère, Courchevel and Val Thorens represent the pinnacle of the French ski experience, offering incredible slopes, charming villages and world-class cuisine. Boris Cuzon, the Chef de Cuisine at Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, gave guests a taste of French Alpine fare with his wintry menu. An apéritif of G.H. Mumm Cordon Rouge was followed by an entrée of Mushroom & Truffle Soup served cappuccino style, while the main was straight out of a Savoyard chalet. Hearty traditional Raclette was provided by dedicated Tefal Raclette Grills, allowing guests to melt their own cheese, accompanied by a selection of charcuterie, potatoes, gherkins, pickled vegetables and a delicious salad (one lucky guest won a Tefal Raclette Grill to enjoy this simple Savoyard pleasure at home). Dessert was a fruity ‘Snow Ball’ with coconut, passionfruit and mango. As part of the evening, The North Face showcased a fashion show of its latest collection of mountain wear, and The Vitamine Jazz Band delighted guests with its energetic performance.
