Goa has long been a favourite destination for travellers to India, attracting people for its beaches and vibrant culture. Gavin Dias, GM of Goa Tourism Development Corporation, showcased the state as part of a Goa Evening held at Doltone House Hyde Park in Sydney on Monday 14 May.
Guests, including travel agents and media, enjoyed a sit-down starter and a buffet-style main of Goan curries, followed by traditional desserts, interspersed with riveting cultural dance performances. The destination presentation was followed by a fun interactive quiz, with prizes for the correct answers.
As well as its fabulous beaches, Goa offers opportunities for house-boating excursions and beautiful settings for destination weddings.
