American Airlines’ top-selling agents have returned from a whistle-stop tour of the Lone Star State, courtesy of Travel Texas, where they got a true taste of Texas-style hospitality and their fair share of BBQ ribs.

The group were lucky enough to visit five cities and regions across the state and enjoyed an array of authentic American experiences. They cheered on the Texas Rangers as they took on the Boston Red Sox in Dallas and discovered firsthand why Austin is known as the “Live Music Capital of the World”.

But it wasn’t all bright lights and big cities. The agents got back to nature on a hike through Enchanted Rock State National Area in Fredericksburg and fine-tuned their destination knowledge on an historic tour of Grapevine.

A highlight of the trip though was the opportunity to don a cowboy hat and boots, and learn how to line-dance at Billy Bob’s, the world’s biggest honky tonk located in Fort Worth.
