LATAM Airlines (LATAM) recently rounded out a Far North Queensland roadshow, visiting frontline sellers in three regional cities: Cairns, Townsville and Mackay. LATAM, along with a group of wholesale partners, met with over 150 local travel agents, showcasing new products and experiences available across South America. Agents came away from each show with a better understanding of how to sell the destination and LATAM’s South America Airpass. The South American Airpass is available to customers who book an international LATAM ticket from Australia to Santiago, Chile and provides a range of benefits, including discounted airfares throughout South America, extra luggage allowance and more reward points. “I want to say a big thank you to all of our partners for supporting us with our latest roadshow and to all of the travel agents who came along and met with us,” said Valeria Alvano, Regional General Manager, Oceania, LATAM Airlines Group. “With LATAM’s new direct service from Melbourne to Santiago, Chile and new and exciting experiences available across South America, it’s a hot destination for Aussies looking for a holiday of a lifetime. We rely on travel agents to help spread the word for us and these events are a fantastic way to get in front of them and showcase exactly what’s on offer across the continent.” One lucky agent in each city walked away with a once-in-a-lifetime trip to South America, thanks to LATAM Airlines and Nomade Unique Experiences.
