Viking Orion recently returned down under for her second Australian season, sailing from Bali on the 17-day Komodo & The Australian Coast itinerary and arriving in Darwin on 15 December, 2019.

The group took part in multiple included shore excursions – all part of Viking’s inclusive value – on a voyage of discovery from Bali to Lombok and Komodo Island in Indonesia before arriving in Darwin.

Viking Orion will sail into Sydney on 27 December 2019.
Meanwhile sister ship Viking Sun will arrive in Hobart on 7 February 2020, the first of eight Australian destinations during her epic 245-day Ultimate World Cruise, which visits six continents, 51 countries and 111 ports over eight months. When Viking Sun reaches Australian waters, she’ll mark day 160 of her Guinness World Record-setting voyage from London to London, with 10 Australian guests sailing the full itinerary.
Together, the two state-of-the-art 930-guest sister ships will call at 17 different Australian and New Zealand ports, offering 16 overnight stays on our shores.Lead image: from left, at Manfredi’s on Viking Orion: Ben Piper, Viking; Holly Nation & Luke Nation, Dream Maker Travel; Leon Burke and Greg Cooke, Helloworld Waurn Ponds; Keira Spencer, Viking; Cathy Barnett, Helloworld Cooroy and Peter Barnett.Want to be in the luxury travel know?
