American Cruise Lines will add another brand new modern riverboat to its fleet on the Columbia and Snake Rivers in the United States in 2021. In just the past few years, American has introduced the first modern riverboats in the USA, built five new small ships, and doubled its capacity on both the Columbia and Snake as well as the Mississippi River. Next year, when American adds its second new 190-guest modern riverboat to the Columbia and Snake, the line will operate two paddlewheelers and two modern riverboats in the region.“The modern riverboats have been received wonderfully and we look forward to continued expansion on both the Columbia and the Mississippi River systems,” said Charles B. Robertson, President and CEO of the Line. American Cruise Lines recently introduced the 184-guest American Song in the region, its new series of contemporary riverboats.
American’s range of small ship styles allows them to offer the widest variety of cruises on the Columbia and Snake Rivers. The line offers five-, eight-, and 11-day itineraries from early April through October each year between Portland, Oregon and Clarkston, Washington. More at americancruiselines.com/
