Quark Expeditions has launched its 2021/2022 Antarctica program, which will be the debut season in the White Continent for the polar expedition cruise specialist’s new ship, Ultramarine. The program has been released with the ‘dream now, travel later’ ethos in mind.

Other highlights of the 2021/22 Antarctica season include:

  • A total solar eclipse on one of two voyages with special guests:
    • 17-day Solar Eclipse 2021: Totality in Antarctica, with South Georgia aboard World Explorer, departing Ushuaia on 26 November 2021 (priced from $16,995 per person twin share).
    • 20-day Solar Eclipse 2021: Totality in Antarctica, with South Georgia on Ocean Diamond, departing Ushuaia on 25 November 2021 (priced from $16,995 per person twin share).
  • 19-day Celebrating Shackelton: Journey from Antarctica to South Georgia itinerary that coincides with the centenary of Shackelton’s death. Operating round trip from Buenos Aires on 22 December 2021, and cruising from Ushuaia aboard Ultramarine. Prices start at $29,995 per person twin share. More here.
  • Visiting Cape Horn and Diego Ramirez.
  • Exploring the southern Chilean Fjords and Torres Del Paine like no other expedition.
