Hurtigruten has introduced onboard credit bonus of between AU$200 and AU$500 on its Original Coastal Voyages along the Norwegian coast. The offer is available for new bookings or guests rebooking. Damian Perry, Managing Director Hurtigruten Asia-Pacific, said the onboard credit promotion provides “extraordinary value for guests”. The credit can be put towards a suite of things, including Hurtigruten’s range of Helly Hansen accessories offered in the onboard shops, a vintage wine for a special dinner, an extra excursion guests can add to their itinerary, or a unique souvenir to remember their voyage. The added-value inclusion can be used on Hurtigruten’s classic 12-day round trip voyage from Bergen to Kirkenes and return to Bergen, the 11-day Voyage of Discovery from Bergen to Kirkenes and south to Trondheim, the seven-day northbound voyage from Bergen to Kirkenes, and the six-day southbound voyage from Kirkenes to Bergen. All Hurtigruten voyages depart daily year-round, be it in search of the Arctic Winter’s Northern Lights, high summer’s midnight sun or the delights of autumn and spring sailings.
To take advantage of the offer, bookings must be made before 30 June 2020 for departures up to the end of 2021. The onboard credit offer varies according to voyage booked. Visit the Hurtigruten website for more details or call a Coastal Specialist on 1300 322 062 (agents).

Additional 5% Low Deposit Offer for all new bookings

New Coastal Voyage bookings can also take advantage of Hurtigruten’s low deposit offer of just 5% deposit on booking to secure a cruise. The remaining balance is due 60 days before the departure date. This offer is valid on Coastal Voyages departing from 1 October 2020. The low deposit offer is also available for new 2021-22 Expedition Cruise bookings. Click here for more information.

Meanwhile, the annual RepTrak 2020 survey has placed Hurtigruten in the top three most trusted companies in Norway.

2020 saw Hurtigruten climb from the fourth spot to number three, a reflection of the company’s high standing.

The latest rankings (view list below and click to enlarge) returns Hurtigruten inside the top three, where the expedition cruise line has been placed for five years straight.

“This result is solid proof that we are widely acknowledged as a trustworthy company with an excellent reputation,” Perry commented.

The company has not had any suspected or confirmed cases of coronavirus on any ships and has introduced supportive and flexible rebooking policies for all its guests.

“We know our guests love to sail with us on expeditions to some of the world’s most remote and pristine wilderness areas. They trust us to give them extraordinary experiences while caring for them, the communities we visit and the nature and marine destinations we sail to,” added Perry.
