Ponant has unveiled details of a new to market 12-night tropical expedition of Southern Australia departing in late March next year. Cruising between Melbourne and Fremantle on the small luxury ship Le Bellot, the sailing will visit Tasmania, three ports in South Australia, cross the Great Australian Bight and call in at two ports in Western Australia.
Departing Melbourne on 27 March 2021, Le Bellot will head to King Island, renowned for its produce, history, flora and fauna, followed by a visit to the Tamar Valley – home to some of Tasmania’s famed cool-climate wines, fine cuisine and Arts Trail.
Guests will then explore South Australia’s Limestone Coast, Kangaroo Island and Port Lincoln, then on to Esperance and Albany, selected destinations that represent opportunities to experience outstanding food and wine regions. At the heart of this voyage will be visits ashore with plenty of time to meet locals and talented artisans and enjoy the quality regional produce.
