A prime holiday destination, Maldives is traditionally known for its high-end luxury resorts with impeccable amenities, personalised service and boundless beauty. Introducing the Maldives Border Miles

The Maldives Border Miles is a tourism loyalty program launched this month. The program was initiated by Maldives Immigration, together with joint stakeholders; Ministry of Tourism, Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) and Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL). The three-tiered loyalty program is a first of its kind for tourists. Visitors who enrol in this program will earn points based on the number of visits and the duration of their stay. Additional points will be awarded for visits to celebrate special occasions. The tiers are:

• Aida (bronze tier)
• Anantara (silver tier)
• Abaarana (gold tier)

Each tier will be defined by a set variety of rewards, services or benefits, which increase in value as members progress. Visitors travelling to Maldives as a tourist can enrol to become a member of Maldives Border Miles. Points will be rewarded when guests stay in a registered tourist facility for at least three nights in Maldives.
