A prime holiday destination, Maldives is traditionally known for its high-end luxury resorts with impeccable amenities, personalised service and boundless beauty. With more than 1,190 tiny islands scattered across the Indian Ocean, it is a captivating destination offering travellers the holy trinity of the sun, sea and sand.
Maldives offers a variety of luxury rooms and accommodations, along with innovative restaurants, modernised interior design, and spas which cater to all types of wellness needs. The nation attracts the attention of wealthy tourists, upscale travellers and global trendsetters. This has inspired hospitality brands to create and adapt different methods and guest experiences, of which some are unmatched and unique only to Maldives.

One-of-a-kind accommodation
Bed, bath and luxury beyond are at the fingertips of visitors as they get to choose from a different variety of accommodation. Almost all resorts come with beach retreats, this is great for clients who enjoy the beach and the ocean, but would rather not opt for an overwater villa. Beach pool retreats are perfect for guests seeking total space, privacy and relaxation. Most overwater villas in Maldives are downright exotic with spacious arrangements and luxurious amenities to cater to your clients’ preference. They can enjoy a session of yoga on the large outdoor decks, sip cocktails in their private swimming pools or pamper themselves in an outdoor bathtub – they can have it all. The Muraka at Conrad Maldives Rangali Resort has the first-of-its-kind luxury two-level residence, with a master bedroom submerged nearly 5-metres below sea level. Above water, guests can enjoy living and dining areas, an outdoor deck with infinity pool, private butler and private chef, and last but not the least, on-call fitness trainer and spa treatments. Down below, a master bedroom with a walk-in closet is available, with a dedicated tunnel viewing theatre.

Luxury liveaboards
Maldives does luxury resorts exceptionally well. But it is also famous for luxury liveaboards – one of the four tourism products of the destination. There is a great assortment of liveaboards which come in various sizes, shapes and standards. Some have extravagant settings, spacious accommodation, vast sundecks, lavish buffets, fine dining and fine wine and luxury spa treatments for client’s seeking complete rejuvenation of the mind, body and soul. A cruise on a liveaboard is an ideal way to explore the country, sailing between stunning islands. Think of it as a floating resort with luxury onboard and onshore experiences which offer a glimpse of the colourful local life.
