Two-and-a-half hours. That’s all the time it took for Regent Seven Seas Cruises2024 World Cruise to sell out, having gone on sale earlier this week, the ultra-luxury cruise line has reported. Guests, old and new, snapped up all the cabins and suites on offer aboard Seven Seas Mariner‘s 132-night voyage in record time. Fares ranged from AU$93,080 per guest for a Deluxe Veranda Suite, up to AU$255,260 per guest for a Master Suite. It’s the third successive year Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ World Cruise has been snapped up in record time. The company’s 2023 World Cruise also sold out within hours of its release last September.

Spanning close to five months aboard the ships, guests will sail 34,500 nautical miles, visiting 66 ports across 31 countries and four continents.
“With a waitlist longer than we have ever experienced, we knew that the 2024 World Cruise was going to be popular, but this outstanding response has surpassed all expectations and is without a doubt our strongest world cruise launch day ever,” said Jason Montague, President and CEO of Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
“Remarkably, we’ve found that interest hasn’t just come from our past guests, and we have seen a strong increase in first-time travellers with Regent, many of whom were keen to book the higher end of our suites,” Montague said.
Operating round trip from Miami, and departing on 6 January 2024, the voyage will explore Central America, the USA’s West Coast and Hawaii, South Pacific Islands, Australia and New Zealand, Southeast Asia, the Indian subcontinent, the Middle East, the Mediterranean, and Bermuda. There are 12 in-port overnight stays on the itinerary, and when in Sydney, guests will even be able to spend a couple of nights at the Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley Resort in the Greater Blue Mountains as an optional land journey. Montague continued, “For our guests, the 2024 World Cruise represents so much more than just a cruise vacation – it’s a return to a normality. That journey back to normality begins this coming September when Seven Seas Splendor sails again, before the rest of the fleet joins her on the oceans in the coming months. We cannot wait to host luxury travellers who are eager to explore the world, very soon, while enjoying the unrivalled Regent experience, and the peace of mind of our multi-layered SailSAFE health and safety program which always puts the safety of our guests, crew and the communities we visit first.”
