A stylish refurbishment of this architecturally designed home was completed in August 2022 featuring stunning artworks, generous sofas and beautiful furnishings all of which add to the perfect relaxed luxury and holiday atmosphere.
Guests enjoy deluxe beds with bespoke Egyptian cotton bed linens, as well as Bemboka blankets and towels. Villa Aman is the result of four years of architectural design, planning and construction culminating in an Award from Master Builders, winning Best Luxury Residence. Due to the busy commitments of its former owners, Villa Aman has never been lived in or open to the public for holiday rental.
Now for the first time in its history and after some loving care by its new owners, Otto and Virginia Buttula, along with an interior update by award-winning and long-term collaborator, interior designer Louise Walsh, Villa Aman welcomes guests to what must be one of Queensland’s most remarkable holiday homes.
Villa Aman is located on the highest point of Port Douglas with a breathtaking vista of Four Mile Beach from Villa Aman’s stunning viewing room. Offering complete privacy and seclusion, its unique outstanding architectural design by Gary Hunt, was created in harmony with the elements of the surrounding land and sea and its seamless connectivity with nature. The house has been built on three levels with a central atrium.
