Liz Rodgers, Founder of LRforLuxuryResorts, a Sydney-based luxury hotel and resort representation business, has been named Regional Director of Sales, Australia and New Zealand of Capella Hotel Group.
Capella Hotel Group is a luxury hospitality management company headquartered in Singapore. The company has two brands, the well-established namesake, Capella Hotels, and Patina Hotels & Resorts. Collectively, the brands are located in eight destinations – Singapore, Shanghai, Ubud, Tufu Bay, Bangkok, Hanoi and Maldives.
Future opening locations include Japan, Maldives, South Korea, and Sydney which is set to debut in March 2023, as Capella Hotel Group’s first property in the Australian market.
Patina Hotels & Resorts is the latest hospitality concept from Capella Hotel Grou. The brand’s inaugural flagship resort Patina Maldives, Fari Islands, opened in May 2021.
On the recruitment of Rodgers, Capella Hotel Group’s Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Andreas Kohn said: “Liz’s appointment underscores the importance of Australia and New Zealand as a significant source market for our growing portfolio of properties. We are delighted to have Liz join the Capella Hotel Group family.”
