Myconian Collection Hotels & Resorts will open its Ornos Beach property – O by Myconian Collection – from 21 April 2023, close to three weeks ahead of its originally planned schedule. This will mark the earliest start to a season for any of the 11 Myconian Collection properties. It is usual for all of the resorts to open from 1 May onwards, and the early opening is a move in response to unprecedented demand for Mykonos this coming season. Opened in 2022, O is the latest addition to the Myconian Collection portfolio. The family-owned group is extremely popular in the Australian market. Last month, Markos Daktylides, Managing Director and Anastasios Naoum, Commercial Director for the Greek hospitality company, visited Australia on a sale mission to meet with key accounts.

Myconian Collection’s representative in Australia and New Zealand, Craig Farrell says there is great potential in the earlier opening. “April is a brilliant time on Mykonos, and we are seeing demand increase for early and late in the season on Mykonos as well as some of the other more popular islands. Clients visiting early in the season will enjoy great weather, and obviously a lot less tourists than in the peak period, which could be an attraction for many clients,” Farrell said. Clients visiting ‘O’ between 21 April and 10 May will also be able to take advantage of a 10% discount off published rates. For more information and bookings, go to omyconian.gr/.
