African ecotourism and conservation brand, Singita, has revealed plans to open a “one-of-a-kind” private hillside villa in the heart of the Serengeti, Tanzania next year.
Named Singita Milele, the five-bedroom villa promises to offer “unsurpassed luxury and exclusivity” overlooking the Serengeti’s pristine wilderness.
Expansion into East Africa was exclusively foreshadowed by LATTE in August last year, when Jo Bailes, Chief Operating Officer at Singita confirmed “a few projects in the pipeline at the moment”.
A website landing page for the new addition states Singita Milele will be: “Perfect for large groups of friends or families, Milele creates elevated opportunities to experience its pristine surroundings in full.”
Each of the five suites in the villa will offer large terraces and decks, dressing rooms, outdoor showers and panoramic views of the Serengeti’s savannas below.
Describing Singita Milele, the hospitality provider said: “Enjoying a secluded setting on Sasakwa Hill, the exclusive-use villa’s expansive configuration offers an unparalleled new opportunity to experience this wilderness in full.”
Singita Milele will also feature jacuzzis, a 10-person movie room, an oversized infinity pool and a boma.
Official images or renders are not available at this time, with Singita only stating that Milele will open in May 2024.
Sole-use rates at Singita Milele (1 Master Suite, 1 Junior Master + 3 King/Twins – for a maximum of 10 guests) is priced at US$26,250 per house, per night in low seasons, or US$35,000 in high season.
