AmaMelodia

In June 2025, AmaWaterways will launch its second ship in Colombia, AmaMelodia, offering travellers additional opportunities to experience two seven-night itineraries, Wonders of Colombia and Magic of Colombia, guiding them along the Magdalena River between the captivating cities of Cartagena and Barranquilla. Similar to AmaMagdalena, her sistership launching November 2024, AmaMelodia will welcome 64 guests with spacious twin-balcony staterooms.

AmaSintra

AmaWaterways will also introduce the all-new AmaSintra, sister ship to AmaDouro, into its European fleet in Portugal in 2025. AmaSintra will sail two seven-night itineraries along the Douro River, including the Enticing Douro, which sails roundtrip to Porto, and the Flavors of Portugal & Spain, which sails from Porto to Vega de Terron, with a reverse itinerary option. Aboard AmaSintra, travellers can indulge in renowned wines amid the sun-kissed vineyards of Port Country, savor the distinct flavors of Portuguese and Spanish cuisine and immerse themselves in the vibrant cultures of charming villages and historical cities throughout the journey.
Returning guests will love the new Imperial Danube seven-night itinerary embarking and disembarking in the vibrant city of Budapest. Besides having more time to discover the nightlife of captivating Budapest and romantic Vienna, guests are able to sit back and take in the scenic daytime cruising through the Danube Bend and Wachau Valley while later enjoying bike rides, regional wine tasting and visits to historic abbeys. In response to an increased demand for more extensive travel experiences, AmaWaterways is also bringing back the popular Magnificent Europe 14-night itinerary. The voyage between Amsterdam and Budapest traces the path of emperors and royalty, while traversing the Continental Divide across the Danube, Main and Rhine rivers. Dates and prices on three new 14-night itineraries: Grand Seine & Bordeaux, Grand Seine & Rhône and Grand Rhine & Dutch Canals are available on AmaWaterways’ website.
