Revival of a Gastronomic Mecca – Restaurant ‘Les Ambassadeurs by Christophe Cussac‘ now open at Hotel Metropole.

Christophe Cussac is a chef with an extraordinary history in the world of French fine dining since the early 1980’s. He arrived at Hotel Metropole in 2004 to accompany Joël Robuchon in the acclaimed restaurant that held two Michelin stars. Having had such an instrumental role behind the scenes, he now stands in the spotlight to unveil the launch of his restaurant “Les Ambassadeurs by Christophe Cussac”, reviving the acclaimed cult venue of the 1920s. What was once a gastronomic mecca in 1920 under the name of Les Ambassadeurs, is coming back under the helm of this Michelin-starred chef who is promising simple cuisine at its finest!

Club La Vigie Monte-Carlo & Maona Monte-Carlo

Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer is reviving the art of chic and glamorous partying that made its legend, while remaining firmly rooted in the modern world of the 21st century. Club La Vigie Monte-Carlo at the Monte-Carlo Beach Hotel opened on 7 June 2023. In an unspoiled natural setting on the seafront, this little piece of paradise is getting back to its roots to become the new place to be for festive afternoons and sunsets on the Riviera. In an elegant atmosphere, Club La Vigie combines a beach club feel at the water’s edge, with Mediterranean food by acclaimed 2-star Michelin chef Marcel Ravin, creative cocktails and a cutting-edge music program. Also revealed is the best-kept secret at Monte-Carlo Beach since 1952 – 5 bungalows tucked away among the pines, rechristened “Love Nests” ideal for intimate moments for couples or among friends.

Maona Monte-Carlo

Also a short walk from the Monte-Carlo Beach, Maona Monte-Carlo, will open its doors this summer. Forming its name from a contraction of Maria and Onassis, representing the famous couple, singer Maria Callas and Aristotle Onassis, Maona, the new summer concept from the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, brings back the atmosphere of the legendary evenings enjoyed by the jet set on the French Riviera in the 1960s and 70s. This open-air summer cabaret showcases live music, featuring DJ sets, a pianist and a diva against a retro-styled backdrop! With its family recipes typical of the region, the menu elevates the classics of local cuisine.

Café de Paris Monte-Carlo

This iconic Monaco address is currently operating the brasserie from the sumptuous Salle Empire at the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, the reimagined new Café de Paris Monte-Carlo at the site of the former Place du Casino will reopen next week, on 14 November 2o23. Café de Paris Monte-Carlo has been a Monaco institution since 1868. The reinvented landmark will offer a sublime brasserie over two levels with one of the best views in the world. And in 2024 this exceptional location will be welcoming Amazónico Monte-Carlo to its rooftop, a truly festive and delicious concept created in 2010 by Sandro Silva and Marta Seco, swiftly becoming one of the most popular restaurant locations in Madrid, London and Dubai. Amazónico is a journey for all the senses, celebrating cultural and culinary diversity from Brazil to Peru in a breathtaking setting inspired by the Amazon rainforest. Entertainment at the restaurant will include live jazz performances inspired by Latin America, bossa nova and Cuban music, and resident DJs will bring the Bar & Lounge area to life.
