Uniworld Boutique River Cruises‘ 2024 President’s Cruise has been set for 16 June 2024 aboard the luxury cruise line’s newest ship, S.S. Victoria.
President and CEO Ellen Bettridge will be onboard the special departure of Uniworld’s Castles Along the Rhine itinerary, from Basel to Amsterdam.
Revealed last month, Uniworld will utilise the former Crystal river ship on a long-term charter from new owners, Seaside Collection. The 110-guest luxury ship will join Uniworld’s fleet in March 2024.

What sets S.S. Victoria apart is that all rooms and suites feature a similar design, with full-length windows in front of the king-sized beds to enjoy the passing scenery along with leather, velvet and marble touches throughout.
Certain suite categories offer even more extravagant amenities such as walk-in closets, fireplaces and a Uniworld-first two-bedroom accommodation with adjoining suites. Other ship highlights include a massage room, well-equipped gym, bistro for casual snacks, rooftop bar and grill for cocktails and light fare, and a fine dining restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and gourmet dinner.
Highlights of the 8-day ‘Castles Along the Rhine’ itinerary include a visit to Alsace; an insider’s look at one of the only castles on the Rhine that has never been destroyed, Marksburg Castle; exploring historic cities including ancient Cologne and picturesque Strasbourg; strolling through the fairytale town of Rüdesheim; tasting wines in the villages where the grapes are grown and more.
Guests also have the opportunity to opt for a pre-cruise extension in Lake Lucerne, and a post-cruise extension in Amsterdam, which both last three days.
