Simon P. Casson has been tapped as the new Chief Executive Officer of Corinthia Hotels Ltd Casson, who distinguished himself over three decades at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts – during which he oversaw an unprecedented period of growth and served as EMEA President for seven years – heads Corinthia’s hotel operating company as it enters an exciting year that will see the opening of several luxury landmark hotels. Corinthia Founder and Chairman Alfred Pisani, said Casson has a reputation as an inspirational people leader and driver of luxury guest experiences.

“I am indebted to the Chairman and Board for their vision, trust and confidence in me, and am humbled and delighted at my appointment as CEO at this important moment for Corinthia Hotels as we boldly embark on a new era,” Casson remarked. “Building on the great success of the corporate leadership and dedicated teams in each hotel, I will work tirelessly to both elevate and grow the brand, ensuring that the experience and outcome for all our stakeholders – employees, guests, shareholders and business partners – is truly world class and defines the Spirit of Corinthia.” In his previous role, Casson, a seasoned hotelier, was responsible for 42 hotels in 26 countries, and oversaw the opening of new properties in London, Athens, Madrid, Casablanca, Taormina, Doha, Kuwait and the Seychelles. He will be based at Corinthia’s London office and assume his duties on 6 April 2024.
