Kicking off on 18 March 2024, 450 Member Travel Designers have committed to this year’s blockbuster event, alongside 450 Partner Suppliers. The event provides travel designers and suppliers to come together for 10-minute one-on-one meetings over three days. Among the Partner Suppliers will be over 300 luxury hotels and resorts, 65 Destination Management Companies (six of which are from Australia, New Zealand and French Polynesia) 20 Tourism Boards and other categories. Approximately half of the participants are Europeans, while the remainder are split from the Middle East, Asia & Pacific (200+), Americas (160+) and Africa (50+). The highlight of the multi-day show will be the black-tie Essence Gala & Idolons Ceremony, where the group will recognise its best-of-the-best travel designers and partners. Serandipians counts today over 570 luxury travel designer agencies worldwide, among which 39% are based in Europe, 25% in the Americas and 36% in Asia. And more specifically, 17 % are based in Asia Pacific (with 40 agencies in China and 10 in Australia & New Zealand), 6% in the Middle East, 17% in North America and 8% in South America. As Australia’s original and wholly dedicated luxury travel trade publication, LATTE is proudly the sole industry media partner from Asia Pacific and first ever from Australia, that will be covering The Essence of Luxury Travel showcase in 2024.
