A group of Australian luxury travel advisors were whisked away from Singapore after ILTM Asia Pacific last week for a weekend of indulgence at ÀNI Thailand – part of ÀNI Private Resorts – the world’s first private resort collection. Last week, LATTE revealed that luxury hotel and resort representative firm, La Collection, had welcomed ÀNI Private Resorts in Thailand and Sri Lanka to its LC Private stable.

Located at Koh Yao Noi, and with spellbinding views of Phang Nga Bay, ÀNI Thailand is a private hideaway for up to 20 guests, offering a vast main swimming pool, an abundance of living and dining areas, as well as a dedicated team of 22 staff to curate every detail of clients ÀNI Experience. Kate Mitrevski from Smartflyer, Melita Boyle from Travel Associates, and Byron Horne from Bicton Travel were joined by ÀNI Private Resorts VP of Sales Lena Wantjer, and Craig Farrell from La Collection.
On arrival at Phuket airport, the group were ushered through the VIP arrivals area to avoid the queues – the first hint that this was no ordinary fam trip. After a private transfer to Royal Phuket Marina and a speed boat to Koh Yao Noi, paradise was found. Over the next three days many of ÀNI’ included dining and touring experiences were enjoyed, including breakfast among the rice fields and a side car tour of the island.
Undoubtably one of the highlights was a long-tail boat trip to a deserted beach, where the ÀNI team was on hand to provide snacks and champagne, while the advisors enjoyed the turquoise water, or soaked up the sun.
