Signature Travel Network’s foundation arm, Travel Elevates, has opened its 2025 Global Impact Grant applications. Each grant recipient will be awarded up to US$50,000 for their 2025 community projects. The project focus will be on education, technology and economic development for the underserved in global travel destinations. Non-profits can apply. Travel Elevates provided seven global grants in 2024 with funding support in early childhood education training, career development, sustainable farming, and technology centre. The foundation also provided emergency aid to three Maui non-profits to help with wildfire relief. In the past five years over US$1 million has been funded for community projects in Africa, Cambodia, Honduras, Panama, Thailand and Mexico.

Travel Elevates 2024 recipients included:
  • Africa Foundation – vegetable farming project in Botswana
  • Centro Comunitario Educativio Entreamigos – technology and innovation centre in San Francisco, Mexico
  • Conservation Lower Zambezi – environmental education, Zambia
  • Education Africa – early education communities in Johannesburg
  • Abercrombie & Kent Philanthropy – Kouk Chan primary school, Siem Reap, Cambodia
  • Uthando (Love) South Africa – early childhood develoment centre in Cape Town, South Africa
  • Abercrombie & Kent Philanthropy – wildflower home mushroom house expansion, Chiang Mai, Thailand
Applications for the 2025 Global Impact Grants close 15 September 2024. To apply go to www.travelelevates.org Grant recipients will be announced December 2024.
