For more than 12 months, travel booking platform Luxury Escapes has been the exclusive distributor of Riverside Luxury Cruises’ itineraries in Australia. However, since cruising was launched on Luxury Escapes’ Agent Hub in May, Luxury Escapes has evolved to become the German cruise line’s preferred partner as it expands its presence in Australia. Together with Riverside Luxury Cruises, Luxury Escapes hosted an intimate lunch in Sydney on Monday to introduce Riverside Luxury Cruises to travel industry professionals. Andrea Kunze, Director of Sales & Marketing Europe, Riverside Luxury Cruises was in attendance alongside a Luxury Escapes’ contingent, including Chris Brandon, Senior Vice President, Retail Distribution; Juliana Nasmith, Head of Cruise; Jade Shaw, Cruise Partnerships and Contracting Manager; and Leighton S, Partnerships and Commercial Contracting Manager.

When Crystal Cruises ceased operations in 2022, Riverside Luxury Cruises seized the opportunity to buy the line’s ships, acquiring the vessels in early 2023, including Crystal’s largest ship, Mozart. Since then, the river ships have been renamed Riverside Mozart, Riverside Ravel and Riverside Debussy, all sailing new itineraries in 2024. Guests can choose from culinary packages that include full board, premium all-inclusive, full board plus inclusive excursions; or premium all-inclusive including excursions. The routes include ports of call in France, Switzerland, Netherlands, Hungary, Austria, Slovakia and Germany, and all are available for booking through the Luxury Escapes Agent Hub.
