The latest edition of the Insight Guide Cruising & Cruise Ships (formerly Berlitz Cruise Guide) has been published, with more than 340 ships evaluated. Testers gave all five of Hapag-Lloyd Cruises‘ luxury and expedition ships top marks for the second year in a row.
Hapag-Lloyd Cruises secured five stars for all ships and bears the title of the “best fleet in the world”.
Now in its 40th edition, the renowned travel guide for cruise ships and cruise experiences were examined and evaluated in all facets by independent testers.

Since their respective commissioning, both ships have set the top standard on the world’s oceans in the luxury segment and defended their top positions unchallenged. In the category of boutique ships with 50 to 250 guests, the three expedition ships all scored five stars, led by the HANSEATIC nature and the HANSEATIC spirit with the same number of points, followed by its sister ship HANSEATIC inspiration.
