A leadership reorganisation at MSC Group’s MSC Cruises Australasia has seen Lisa Teiotu, Managing Director for the region, depart the cruise line recently, LATTE can reveal.
“Lisa Teiotu has left the organisation after five years in her position as country manager of MSC Cruises, Australia and New Zealand and we are grateful for her efforts and contribution during this time and wish her every success in her future endeavours,” Antonio Paradiso, VP International Sales, MSC Cruises and Explora Journeys, told LATTE.
“As part of the new structure, I will be providing the strategic direction working with Nicole Costantin who will be leading our sales efforts day to day,” he confirmed.
Costantin is Explora Journeys’ Head of Sales for Asia Pacific and was the luxury cruise line’s first regional employee, appointed in June 2022. Explora Journeys is the sister cruise brand of MSC Cruises. Both are part of the MSC Group.
Teiotu had been with MSC Cruises for five years, beginning in a Sales Director role and working her way up through the ranks, and was appointed Managing Director for the region in June 2023.

On his first whirlwind visit to Australia to meet MSC Cruises’ local team earlier this year, Paradiso told LATTE he sees “so much potential in the Australian market that we haven’t exploited yet”.
“We’re still relatively new as far as Australia is concerned. Not because we haven’t been operating here for years, but in terms of priority on our agenda. Now Australia is really moving up the rank.”
Meanwhile, MSC Cruises Public Relations Communications Manager Leisa Chell confirmed her retirement earlier this week. She has worked with the cruise line for more than seven years, joining as Marketing Manager in 2017.
