AYANA Villas and AYANA Resort, part of the iconic AYANA Bali integrated resort destination, are undergoing an ambitious renovation project that will elevate their luxury accommodations while honouring Balinese heritage and sustainability. Perched atop the cliffs of Jimbaran Bay with breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean, these enchanting properties are poised to elevate guest experiences through refreshed designs, enhanced comfort, and eco-conscious features. At AYANA Villas, the renovation focuses on three villa categories: The One-Bedroom Ocean Front Cliff Villa, the One-Bedroom Ocean View Cliff Villa, and the One-Bedroom Ocean View Villa, with an estimated completion date of mid-December 2024. Led by the renowned Tokyo-based SPIN Design Studio, the project introduces a contemporary interpretation of Balinese aesthetics using locally sourced materials.

Each villa is being thoughtfully reimagined to reflect AYANA Bali’s stunning natural environments: the 1-Bedroom Villas will feature soothing blue tones, the Cliff Villas will showcase calming green accents inspired by the surrounding lush landscape, and the AYANA Resort rooms will embody the warm hues of a Balinese sunset.A standout feature of the renovation is the enhanced Cliff Villas, where sliding doors replace traditional windows to welcome natural sea breezes, reducing reliance on artificial cooling and reflecting AYANA’s commitment to sustainability. The refreshed interiors also incorporate repurposed stone and wood carvings, modernised to seamlessly blend tradition with contemporary design. Meanwhile, AYANA Resort is enhancing its accommodations with two comprehensive renovation phases: The West Building has been undergoing renovations since September, and are expected to be wrapped up just before Christmas, while the East Building’s renovations are scheduled for the second quarter of 2025 and are earmarked to conclude by mid-December 2025. These upgrades aim to deliver a seamless blend of luxury, comfort, and sustainability across the legendary resort.
“AYANA Villas and AYANA Resort are entering an exciting new chapter, where timeless Balinese charm meets contemporary innovation,” said Giordano Faggioli, General Manager of AYANA Bali. “By reimagining our spaces we’re creating an exquisite journey for our guests, one that harmonizes luxury, sustainability, and our breathtaking natural surroundings. We are looking forward to welcoming guests to experience these cherished AYANA properties like never before.”
