North America’s first new luxury alpine village in over 40 years will be home to a new high-end resort and residential offering from Four Seasons.
Four Seasons Resort and Private Residences Deer Valley in Park City, Utah will be set within the new East Village development, which opened for its inaugural season this month, and will feature 134 guest rooms and suites, along with 123 private residences. These residences will offer ski-in/ski-out access, with 55 units located above the resort, and another building next door housing 68 owner-exclusive units.
A partnership between Four Seasons and Extell Development, the hotel is being designed by ODA Architecture and aims to blend with the mountain environment, while offering unparalleled access to Deer Valley’s famed slopes.
“As we grow our iconic mountain collection, we are thrilled to bring Four Seasons to Deer Valley at an exciting time for the acclaimed destination,” President of Global Business Development at Four Seasons Bart Carnahan said.
“By combining our legendary hospitality and residential offerings with this storied mountain setting, we look forward to offering another incomparable luxury retreat with our partners at Extell as they expand Deer Valley for future generations.”
Founder and Chairman of Extell Gary Barnett emphasised the strength of the partnership, with the pair having worked on a number of projects in the past. “We look forward to creating something remarkable with Four Seasons in Deer Valley as well, as we venture to redefine luxury both on the slopes and off at Deer Valley East Village,” he said. Designed for year-round enjoyment, Four Seasons Deer Valley will offer wellness and fitness facilities along with fine dining. As part of the new East Village, set to be one of North America’s largest ski resorts, the hotel will also offer guests access to the development’s enhanced slopeside access, a skier services facility, new retail offerings, and culinary experiences, with additional après-ski venues.
