Italian hospitality firm The Romeo Collection has unveiled its second address, with the opening of ROMEO Roma. The Zara Hadid-designed property, located just steps from Piazza del Popolo, represents one of the architect’s last projects before her death in 2016. Set within a historic 16th-century palace, the five-star 74-room boutique hotel fuses futuristic elements with the historic surroundings.

The launch of this new property will be followed by the opening of ROMEO Massa Lubrense later this year taking the portfolio to three. Its first property, ROMEO Napoli, opened in 2014.
