Four Seasons and Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings marked the latest construction milestone when the first Four Seasons Yacht was floated out at Fincantieri’s Ancona shipyard in Italy yesterday. The celebratory event also served as the one-year countdown to the launch of Four Seasons I.
In keeping with maritime tradition, the float out ceremony recognises the shipbuilders’ work and accomplishments to date. Four Seasons I will now move to a wet dock for the final phase of construction, centred around the interiors, fixtures and fittings for suites, restaurants and public spaces.
“The Float Out marks a key milestone in bringing Four Seasons personalised service and renowned experiences to the seas,” says Alejandro Reynal, President and CEO, Four Seasons.
“As we continue our strategic growth, we are creating a luxury ecosystem where guests can stay, live, and travel with a brand they know and trust.”
“Our entry into luxury yachting is a key part of this vision, and with one year until we set sail, the excitement and momentum continues to build,” Reynal said.“This wonderful, milestone event is only possible because of the hard work, commitment, and expert craftsmanship of all those involved in the creation of Four Seasons I,” added Nadim Ashi, Owner and Executive Chair, Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings LTD, Joint Owner/Operator Four Seasons Yachts; Founder and CEO of Fort Partners.
“I know I speak for everyone in attendance today when I say it is an honour to be joined by the many men and women whose dedication and expertise has allowed us to witness this monumental moment.”
“I cannot think of a better way to start our official one-year countdown to the January 2026 debut of this extraordinary vessel, which will redefine luxury at sea in every way imaginable.”
“As we look ahead, we’re thrilled to unveil more about Four Seasons I, which will feature
expansive oceanfront suites with private terraces, a 66-foot lounge pool, and the highest space ratio in the industry for unrivalled comfort – stay tuned for exciting updates. Let the countdown begin!” Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings added.
