Nicole Costantin has been appointed as the new Head of Sales for MSC Cruises in Australia and New Zealand, marking a significant expansion of her current role.
Costantin will continue to serve as the Head of Sales for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region at Explora Journeys, while now also overseeing sales for MSC Cruises in the region. The move follows the departure of former MD for the region Lisa Teiotu in November, at which time LATTE exclusively foreshadowed Costantin’s expanded capacity for the wider MSC Group.

“I am extremely passionate about the cruise industry, and the Australian and New Zealand market offer immense potential for growth for MSC Group,” Costantin said. “I am excited and energised to take on this expanded portfolio of both MSC Cruises and Explora Journeys, and I look forward to working on a deeper level with our valued trade partners.” In this newly created position, Costantin will report directly to Antonio Paradiso, Vice President of International Sales at MSC Group. Paradiso, who also holds Managing Director responsibilities for MSC Cruises and Explora Journeys in Australia and New Zealand, expressed excitement about Costantin’s expanded role, noting her instrumental contributions to the APAC launch of Explora Journeys’ first two ships, Explora I and Explora II. Paradiso praised Costantin’s track record in the industry. “Nicole has been instrumental in successfully launching the Explora Journeys brand to the Australasian market,” he said. “I am incredibly excited by the depth of experience she brings to MSC Cruises with her contemporary cruise background.” Despite this change, the MSC Cruises and Explora Journeys sales teams will remain separate, with Brigita Devries continuing as Senior Sales Manager for MSC Cruises. “Brigita and her dedicated team have done a wonderful job working closely with our trade partners in market,” Costantin said.
