Members from 77 countries worldwide as well as suppliers from across the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific are making their way to Phuket, Thailand for Traveller Made’s first major event of 2025. Taking place from Monday 3 March to Thursday 6 March with events at The Banyan Tree Phuket and SAii Laguna Phuket, the Essence of Phuket is the first in a series of three events for the luxury travel network in 2025. “As announced in 2024, ‘Essence of Luxury’, our flagship event, multiplies by three in 2025 and takes place in three new locations, on three different continents,” Traveller Made Founder and President Quentin Desurmont said. “This is an important milestone for us as we live up to our claim of being the most international luxury travel network.” Of the remaining shows, one will take place in Europe in Sardegna and the other in the Americas in Panama. This global spread reflects the company’s global expansion both in terms of member agencies and partner suppliers.

Essence of Phuket, the organisation’s first large-scale event in Asia, will build upon last year’s theme of “Master Design and Craft” with a new chapter titled “Iconicity.” “We are on a quest to create icons in the luxury travel industry, and this is yet another step of this exciting and challenging journey,” Desurmont said. This year’s event will also explore the role of artificial intelligence in luxury travel, an area of great interest for Traveller Made which has previously used it to animate its muse characters Goddess Serendipity and Master Takumi, as well as in its brand imagery and motion art. Additionally, the Phuket event will see several “Idolons” (meta-verse “minted” versions) will be awarded to selected members and partners in recognition of outstanding achievements over the past year. “For five days in Phuket we’ll explore, expand our knowledge, strengthen friendships and have fun,” Desurmont said. LATTE will be in attendance, so stay tuned for more coverage.
