The Luxury Travel Collection brought its Luxury Travel Event to Sydney’s ICC on Sunday 23 February, connecting hundreds of high-value clients with suppliers and travel advisors.
LTC General Manager Nikki Glading highlighted The Luxury Travel Event’s role in helping suppliers and advisors connect with valuable new clients, as well as reengaging with existing clients to educate them on new product offerings.
“An incredible 71% of our attendees were not currently booking their holidays with a travel advisor, which speaks volumes about the impact events like this have on introducing new clients to our experienced members and partners,” she said.
“When you create an environment that is welcoming, inspiring, and filled with those exquisite touches of luxury—like a champagne masterclass, custom fragrance experiences and gourmet creations under the guidance of a celebrity chef—you truly bring the magic of luxury travel to life.”
For Travel Associates Cronulla Advisor Lisa Knight, the day was centred around building lasting connections with suppliers and clients.
“Attending the Luxury Travel Event on the weekend epitomised all the best parts of being a Luxury Travel Collection member,” she said. “Speaking with suppliers, bonding with fellow advisors and of course engaging with the wonderful clients was a highlight. Beyond business opportunities, the event also provided valuable insights into the latest luxury travel trends. “The event provided a fantastic opportunity to gain insight into the destinations discerning travellers are considering for the upcoming year, enabling LTC to curate an impeccable product range for our members to handpick from the finest collection of luxury experiences,” Glading said. “All types of cruising; ocean, river and small ship remain incredibly sought after with luxury travellers, as cruise lines continue to expand their offerings both in terms of destination and their fleet.” Anticipation is now building for the next Luxury Travel Event, set to take place at The Star on the Gold Coast on 30 March 2025.
