Silversea has unveiled its much-anticipated World Cruise 2028 – a 132-day voyage aboard Silver Shadow entitled An Ode to the Moment. Departing from Miami on 5 January 2028 and finishing in Nice on 16 May 2028, the journey will span 58 destinations across 29 countries, including 17 overnights. “Our 2028 World Cruise, An Ode to the Moment, is designed to slow time, offering deeper exploration of each destination,” Silversea President Bert Hernandez said. “With our unrivaled destination expertise, we guide guests to both iconic landmarks and hidden gems, ensuring they experience the world at its finest. Exclusive events, special access, and optional overland tours create once-in-a-lifetime moments unique to Silversea’s World Cruises.”

The World Cruise is divided into nine distinct chapters, each offering a unique experience. Highlights include Anthem of the Tropics, where guests will explore the Caribbean and lesser-known gems like Jost Van Dyke and Kralendijk. In Reign of the Rainforest, travellers will immerse themselves in the flavours of South America, including an exclusive Colombian Coffee Workshop. Lands of Fire and Ice will take guests to Patagonia and the Chilean Fjords, with opportunities to witness unique wildlife. As the journey continues, guests will be treated to exclusive events such as A Garden of Moments, a special experience at the Pedro de Osma Museum in Callao. Other experiences include the chance to enjoy Carnival in Rio de Janeiro and a Night on Table Mountain in Cape Town. Silversea will open an exclusive pre-sale for its An Ode to the Moment World Cruise 2028 to all Venetian Society members on 13 March, with general sales opening on 20 March.
