Virtuoso’s signature gathering Virtuoso Travel Week continues to grow, with more changes on the cards as the event heads into 2025 including an appointment increase of 44%.
“Virtuoso Travel Week is another product that just keeps getting bigger with your feedback and your participation,” Cheryl Cheney-Bunker, Vice President Global Member Relations told delegates at the recent Virtuoso ANZ Forum 2025 in Perth.
The 2024 iteration of Virtuoso Travel Week saw a major redesign aimed at enhancing the experience for attendees.
“The changes that we made last year came from literally hundreds of pages of surveys that we read from all of you,” she said, underscoring how valuable participant feedback is in shaping the event. “In 2024 we found some things worked great. Other things needed to be refined, and some things just won’t be repeated for next year.”
Key improvements included all matched appointments and free afternoons, providing attendees the freedom to curate their schedules and enjoy the experience more fully. Additionally, mid-week professional development was introduced, and advisor attendance was curated based on specific sales focuses and qualifications, ensuring a more tailored approach than previous years.
Looking ahead to 2025, the event will continue to build on the success of these changes.
“In 2025 one of the things that will continue is the opportunity for matched appointments,” Cheney-Bunker said, adding it was a tweak which received outstanding feedback from attendees. The 2025 edition will feature 44% more appointments across the week and reduce open time to just two hours in the afternoon. Other new additions include optional speed dating and app enhancements to streamline afternoon scheduling.
Requests to attend Travel Week 2025 are now being accepted. The event will take place in Las Vegas from Saturday 9 August to Friday 15 August with host hotels confirmed as Bellagio Las Vegas, Aria Resort & Casino, Vdara Hotel & Spa and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
“Virtuoso Travel Week has proven not to just change the industry, but also be an accelerator of advisor business,” Cheney-Bunker said. “We know it’s a significant investment for you and for your advisors to attend. We really appreciate the engagement, the support, particularly for this region.”
