The Luxury Travel Collection (LTC) has reported significant sales growth for its cruise business, in line with current trends globally indicating high-end sailing remains a ‘hot ticket’ item for high-net-worth travellers. Danielle Galloway, Managing Director – Luxury and Independent brands, FCTG, told delegates at last weekend’s event in Brisbane that cruise bookings across the board for LTC were up 50% year-on-year. At LTC, cruising is represented in Luxury Travel Collections’s Galeries de Luxe, with all operators offering exclusive special offers to members on all sailings, Galloway said. “This gives us a huge advantage,” she said, in reference to other retail networks and groups.

During her opening remarks, Galloway also lauded LTC’s partners for their commitment to the group and offering increased commission. ” many, many more things to come in cruising. Not just from LTC but from across the whole Flight Centre Travel Group, she added. Ending with, “cruising is our most spoken-about program and there are a multitude of future strategies to capitalise on,” she eluded.
