Treehouse Hotels, the free-spirited hospitality brand from Starwood Hotels, has opened its latest property in the heart of Manchester.
Treehouse Hotel Manchester welcomed its first guests on 19 March, marking the second UK location for the brand after Treehouse Hotel London and adding to its growing global footprint.
“Treehouse Hotels capture the playfulness of childhood—building forts with your friends, acting out your dreams, and experiencing the world with boundless imagination,” Starwood Hotels Founder Barry Sternlicht said.
“With Treehouse Hotel Manchester, we bring those vibes to life. It’s designed to be full of ‘carefreedom,’ where carefree meets freedom and good times happen.”
Located at Blackfriars Street and Deansgate, the hotel combines the warmth of a treehouse with the vibrant energy of Manchester – a city known for its music, sports, and creativity. The design features wall-to-wall windows and lush greenery, with quirky décor, reclaimed materials, and an atmosphere that encourages exploration. The hotel also offers several dining and entertainment options, including Pip by Mary-Ellen McTague, which focuses on seasonal, low-waste cuisine, and The Nest, a lively rooftop venue. For those looking to unwind, the hotel features wellness programs, a state-of-the-art gym, and a dog-friendly atmosphere. Committed to sustainability, Treehouse Hotel Manchester is focused on reducing its environmental impact, using eco-conscious materials and supporting local charities. With its mix of fun, creativity, and community, the hotel promises to be a destination like no other. The Treehouse brand’s Australian debut is creeping closer, with Adelaide to become the first destination when it launches in 2026.
