Crystal has unveiled a new menu for its signature Italian dining venue, Osteria d’Ovidio, in partnership with acclaimed chef Massimiliano Alajmo and renowned restaurateur Raffaele Alajmo.
Known for their three Michelin-starred culinary exploits, the Alajmo brothers bring another level of sophistication to Crystal’s already stellar gastronomic offerings.
“Massimiliano and Raffaele have crafted a menu that seamlessly blends their Michelin-starred expertise with the spirit of discovery that defines Crystal,” said Gunter Lorenz, VP of Food & Beverage Operations. “Each dish tells a story—of passion, artistry, and the finest ingredients—creating an unforgettable dining journey at sea.”
Launching later this summer aboard Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony, the menu offers a multi-sensory experience through three curated tasting menus—Italia, Le Calandre, and Venezia—as well as à la carte options.

Le Calandre, a tribute to the Alajmo family’s flagship restaurant, features innovative creations like Risotto allo Zafferano con Polvere di Liquirizia and Carrè d’Agnello in Crosta. Meanwhile, Venezia offers refined Venetian classics reimagined by Chef Max Alajmo, including Carpaccio di Tonno and Gran Gelato al Pistacchio. “Each dish we’ve created for Osteria d’Ovidio is a chapter in a story — one that celebrates the beauty, simplicity and depth of Italian cuisine,” said Chef Alajmo. “It’s about more than just flavors; it’s about creating an experience that lingers long after the meal is over.” With this bold culinary move, Crystal strengthens its position as a leader in luxury dining at sea, continuing to redefine the standards of gastronomic excellence.
