Regent Seven Seas Cruises has appointed Anji Montgomerie as Senior Business Development Manager for Queensland and the Northern Territory as the ultra-luxury cruise line enters an “exciting new phase”. In this new role, Montgomerie will act as the key relationship manager for the cruise line’s valued travel advisor partners in the regions, with a focus on driving growth for the luxury brand. “Regent Seven Seas Cruises is delighted to welcome Anji to the Australian Sales Team,” Vice President of Sales & General Manager Asia Pacific Lisa Pile said.
“Anji will be a huge asset to our business bringing a deep understanding of the travel industry to the role at a time when the company is entering an exciting new phase with the launch next year of the ultra-luxury Seven Seas Prestige.”
Pile also noted the energy Montgomerie brings to the team. “I am also looking forward to Anji’s fresh perspective and harnessing her passion for travel having explored around 100 countries,” she said. Montgomerie joins Regent with over 15 years of experience in business development roles across global travel brands. Most recently, she served as Business Development Manager for the Globus Family of Brands, managing travel agency relationships across Queensland and Northern New South Wales. In 2024, she was a finalist in the Most Outstanding Sales Executive (Land Supply – tour operator) category at the National Travel Industry Association Awards. “I am thrilled to be joining the Regent Seven Seas Cruises team and working with existing and new partners across the region,” said Montgomerie, who will be based on the Gold Coast. “This new role will allow me to transfer my skills gained in other areas of the travel industry to the luxury ocean cruise sector.”
